Hi Carrie!

I finally took the plunge and I recently signed up for a NetBlue offer asking (one asking Obama vs. McCain on your offers page).

I am confused by something in the Terms & Conditions it states this (sorry for the long quote):
--- "CANCELLATION LIMITATION: You will not be eligible to receive a Gift in this Promotion if, within 60 days of your Sponsor Offer Initial Transaction Date, you cancel your participation in more than two
Sponsor Offers you have completed as a part of the Program Requirements, or cancel any Sponsor. Offers within 60 days of your Sponsor Offer Initial Transaction Date if you were invited by a Refer-a-Friend Offer (the “Cancellation Limitation”). The Cancellation Limitation applies regardless of whether such limitations appear in the advertiser’s terms and conditions for the applicable Sponsor Offer." ---
What does this mean? I have already invested $105 in the offers for this $500 Visa Gift Card. Is this saying that I MUST remain a member in the offers BEYOND the trial periods (in this case for 60 days).
And if so, considering that the average price per month after the trial periods on any of the offers is around $60/month...

How can I end up making money on this offer?
I feel like I may be scammed and I'm really worried.

By the way, the company that my trial is through is Onlinegiftrewards.com.

Please help Carrie.

Thanks in advance,
Kay

Hi Kay,

You are actully doing a Nuitech site and not a Netblue.

Make sure to scroll to the bottom of my online offers page to read the directions for Nuitech and the Questions/Answers for Nuitech, and it should all make more sense.

They are set up different than Netblue and do require that you remain a member of all but 2 for at least 60 days.

Nuitech is a toally legit site, and I have gotten over $5,000 from them in checks already.

They do require more upfront in costs. For example, I normally pay from around $150 to $250 for a $1,000 or more gift card/check. But, my profit is a larger amount.

For lower upfront costs, which alot of people just starting out like, I-Deal sites are usually the best. They cost more like $50 to $80. The only difference is you are getting a lower valued gift..more like $500.

I hope all that information helps.

If you need addtional help, feel free to email me directly.

From all of our experience with the $1,000 offer we are doing right now with Nuitech ( there is a small group of us right now doing that site ), it seems like all the offers are showing up within about 2 weeks.

Then, at the 30 day mark you need to send for Manual Credit right away. As soon as everything is credited, then you sit back and wait for them to give you your forms....which should occur right at 60 to 61 days.

Send those in ASAP with delivery confirmation. Once they receive them, they will update their site then just sit back and wait for your gift to be mailed to you...usually 6 weeks.

On average, it takes about 4 months to receive your gift from Nuitech.

Let me know if you need further details.

To EVERYONE ELSE....most of these directions I just explained do NOT belong to Netblue...which is the Questions/Answers section you are reading. So, please disregard. These instructions are for Nuitech!

Kay,

I just looked at my offer page again...and the one I was looking at is only for $250 for McCain vs. Obama on the Nuitech site.

So, it isn't the same one.

But, I don't see the one you did on my site?

I can't find one linked to Online Gift Rewards.

But, if it says 60 days...it is usually a Nuitech site.

There were a few offes that expired in the last weeks...maybe it was one of those.

I did log into the site now....well, the outer page, and it is for a computer ( they do change their offers...so whatever gift you signed up for will be what you get ). And, it is for Nuitech, not Netblue.

Email me the specifics of the site you did, since I can't find it out there.

Hi Carrie,

I am getting ready to do a Netblue offer. I am wondering about this Pay to Shop offer you have on the right hand side. I can't figure out how much it is for. Am I missing something?

Thanks so much!
Jenny

Carrie @ Moneysavingmethods.com said...

Hi,

The Pay 2 Shop is for $500, but for specific stores.

After you enter your email, it will give you the list to choose from.

Before you start signing up for offers with Netblue, make sure to go all thru the pages and pick your offers first.

People have been writing in and saying the offers on the last page are expensive right now.

So, make sure the cost is worth it before starting to complete offers.

I went with the $150 one right now, because of the high cost on the last page...and I just like to always have some going from each site, if I can.

Carrie - I started the bigwin.com about the same time I did the $500 gas card from IDeal. It took awhile like you said but finally last week everything showed for me to print the certificates. I did and mailed them with delivery confirmation. I thought everything was fine but today I got an email saying that I still needed to complete 6 more offers. The offer I did was for $1000 gas card and required that 12 offers be completed. I did all of that and it even shows up on my account like that. I don't understand how they think that I need to do 6 more offers. Have you ever had this happen? Will they let me send in proof of completion of the offers? I thought it was all good with this one but not so.

Marla,

I have never heard of such a thing.

If you get a chance tomorrow, email me.

Do you have their phone number? If not, I can send it to you.

I would call them and have all your documentation in front of you to go over.

Make sure you make copies of everything for future records. In fact, do screen prints of the pages showing all your offers are completed, etc.

It sounds like it is just a mistake on their end..but still email me tomorrow.

I'm still trying to figure this one out, but in today's SmartSource insert there is a coupon for up to $20 off any OneTouch Blood Glucose Monitoring System. In the Walgreen's ad, the Ultra2 model is on sale for $29.99 with a $29.99 mail in rebate, making it free. Could this possibly be a $20 money maker?

Now I am not diabetic, so I don't need the monitor. I would have to figure out what to do with it so it wouldn't go to waste. My dad is diabetic, so maybe he could use it.

What do you think? Am I missing something?

Ok so I signed up @ bigwin.com for a $1000 gift card offer. I ran out of time to do the offers the day I signed up. Came back next day to log in and realized I don't have a pass to log in. Only way to contact them is email, at least from their site. I know in the past when I deal w/ netblu I had to call to get pass setup. Well I tried all these #s and either temp disconnect or unavailable:
Tel: (866) 383-3733
Tel: (801) 316-0555
Telephone: (650) 810-1200
Is there a new # I don't know about? If so can you please post. thanks

What exactly do you mean when you say manual credit? Thanks!

Carrie @ Moneysavingmethods.com said...

Manual credit is when you sign up for something ( for example, Netflix ) and it never shows completed or that you did.

You will then need to call/email them and they will require you send in your invoice or credit cards statement ( account #s always blacked out ) showing that you did.

Then, they manually go into your account and update it for you.

Carrie,
I've read around and heard a lot of people say that Netblue is a site to stay away from for now. I've been wanting to do anyfreelaptop.com. Would you recommend diving into this now?

Thanks!

Carrie @ Moneysavingmethods.com said...

Karis,

Netblue has changed alot just this year.

The reason it is becoming for difficult to do, is that you have to invest aLOT more now.

So, it is for those that are willing to shell alot out upfront to get their gift ( and you better make sure the gift you are getting is worth quite a bit more than what you are spending).

Are they still legit? Of course...if you follow all their rules.

You can log into and set up and account with them and take a look at the last few pages to see if this is something you want to invest the money into.

I have only been sticking to their low dollar offers now...because those are still affordable and a decent return.

You would probably be better off doing an offer with I-Deal or Nuitech with $ payout and use that money to buy the laptop. I always recommend getting cash/gift cards ( VISA/MASTERCARD ) preferably, because you can buy the same product on sale.

If Netblue or any of these companies say that computer is worth $800, for example, you will pay taxes on $800. EVEN if you could have gotten the computer on sale for $600.

So, I always take the money, buy the product I needed on sale and pocket the difference.

Thanks for the reply! I have set up an account and noticed how much money I would be spending with anyfreelaptop, and I think I will just go with a different plan. Do you know of any good sites to get money rather than gifts? Or don't some sites just always send a check? I saw your list you posted back in September? Do you know if there are still reliable? I'll go back and look at them myself. I am one of the people who has been waiting right at a year for the brandarama 1000 visa. So, I kinda don't want to get stuck in that again. Also, do you know if Ideal is referral based? I've been trying to find a link to one of their sites to research it, but I can't seem to find one. Ok--Thanks so much!!

nevermind about the ideal question--i just found your ideal instructions. thanks!

Hi Carrie,
I had a NetBlue site that I was going to start next... it was $1000 toward a cell phone bill. Then you changed the Netblues to Nuiteches. So..I was looking at the NetBlues that J.Clark has posted. On the sidebar of a reward site - it said "Win $1000 of Gas". I clicked on it and it appeared to be a subsite. Is that a legitimate way to get different gift options to a company? Thank you soo much for your help through all this!!!

Carrie @ Moneysavingmethods.com said...

Hopefully the Netblue sites will be back soon. The company I went thru for Netblue took down all their sites, so I wasn't linking thru. I will put them back up once they are available.

In regards to whatever site you are talking about..I am not sure. You would need to send me a link for me to look at.

Do you have to use the same email address for all NetBlue offers - like you do IDeal? Or do you use an email for each website? The reason why I ask is because I had signed up for a NetBlue offer - then decided that it was too much money up front for me at this time...Well, without even signing up with any companies, I have 165 junk emails! I don't want to use the same email if I don't have to. Thank you!!

Carrie @ Moneysavingmethods.com said...

Cyndie,

In the past, you did NOT have to.

But, I am not working on a Netblue right now and don't have one up on my sight...so I can't see if they have changed their terms lately.

I would like to say it is OK to set a new one up, but do read thru the terms before you start just to make sure.

Hi,
I know that I had e-mailed you this question but I thought that I would post it also. I just completed an offer through reward my opinion.com which is a subsidiary of netblue. I cannot log into the account and my e-mails keep coming back. The phone numbers that I have for netblue are also disconnected. I tried to contact Connexxus who I thought had bought Netblue but they say that they have nothing to do with this. Can anyone help me with a phone number? Thank you
Casey

Here is the email address I had from rewardmyopinion.com from when I did them last year.

Not sure if it will still work, but give it a try.

Hi Carrie!

So I am considering doing a Netblue offer since I already successfully did an I-deal one and don't want to attempt the 2 in 6 month thing. So, is there any restriction with Netblue about how often you can do them. I thought I would do a smaller one, like $150, so I wanted to see if I could do a couple.

Also, have you ever done one that offers a trip? I saw the Mexico one that you had and I was wondering about that.

Thanks,
Ashley

I have been emailing them to get a password to check my account. They finally sent a link a week ago to be able to set up the account, however when I try to access it keeps saying they are updating their servers. Have you heard of them having problems currently? I have been emailing them on this issue for a week with no response. Thanks

Carrie @ Moneysavingmethods.com said...

This has happened to me for over a year.

Which site did you do and I can try and send you the link I have used to reset successfully.

No guarantees.

If that doesn't work, I would send them one last email, politely stating your issue and if they still don't respond, submit a BBB request to help.

They will usually get the issue fixed, then.

A tip on emarketpanel - Mine says "updating servers" every time I try to log in. I use the set up password link, and thenclick on the link they send via email. It makes logging in take longer, but works every time.

Help! :) I have been trying to contact Netblue via email. I am doing the $150 Adidas/Nike deal. I need to talk to them to know what to send in for manual credit. Do you have a customer service number for them? It is an Emarketpanel website. Thanks so much!

Carrie @ Moneysavingmethods.com said...

Kim,

There should be a contact us button on the site.

If that doesn't work, let me know and I will fish thru my old emails to see if I still have their direct email address.

Hi Carrie,
Any new Netblue offers coming our way? What happened to them anyway?

Thanks,
Meg

Carrie @ Moneysavingmethods.com said...

I've been keeping my eyes peeled for them, but haven't seen any come across lately.

As soon as I see some new ones, I will be sure to repost them out here.

Carrie-
Do you have keep the offers so many days on Netblue like you do on Nuitech?

Becky

Carrie @ Moneysavingmethods.com said...

Becky,

With Netblue, you should get a pop up on each offer you do. That pop up will tell you the requirements for that specific offer.

I do copy and paste each pop up into a Word Docement that I keep as back up documentation, in case they ever try to change the terms, though.

If the pop ups aren't showing up, you need to disable your pop up blocker so you can see them.
